Senior / Engineer (Core Network Engineering/Cloud Infrastructure & Data Network)

Responsibilities:

• Perform operation, support, monitoring and maintenance of mobile systems infrastructure including IP/MPLS packet backbone, Internet backbone, Out-of-Band (OOB) management network, and Gi/GRX roaming network.

• Assist in the evaluation, testing, implementation, acceptance and commissioning of network and security systems, ensuring successful service deployment and integration.

• Execute network configuration changes, software upgrades, migration activities and maintenance works in accordance with operational procedures and maintenance schedules.

• Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents and service issues, and provide timely restoration to minimize service impact.

• Monitor network performance, capacity utilization and service availability, and provide recommendations for optimization and expansion.

• Prepare technical reports, operational procedures, network documentation, and performance analysis reports.

• Provide 2nd line support and troubleshooting for packet-related services, corporate customer incidents, and interconnection issues.

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and vendors for network installation, commissioning, maintenance and issue resolution activities.

• Perform emergency call out(ECO) duties, follow-up support issues, fault isolation, trouble-shooting network problems

Requirements:

• Diploma/High Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Computer or above in related disciplines

• 5 year hands-on TCP/IP Networking experiences in IT/Telecom related field

• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials would be an advantage.

• Mature, self-motivated, responsible, good communication and problem solving skills

• Work as a member of a team, Aggressive, Detailed mind, able to work independently and under pressure

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Engineer position. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Immediate availability is preferred.
