Senior Engineer - DevOps & Cloud

Your Tasks:

• Design and implementation of scalable architectures on Azure with a focus on infrastructure-as-code - in Data Analytics & AI.
• Setup and maintenance of DevOps environments and of DevOps processes.
• Guidance and support colleagues in the field of software development with AI components on Azure.
• Technical consulting and implementation of analytical proof-of-concepts as well as in the transfer into productive solutions.
• Working closely with project managers and data scientists as well as subject matter experts in agile projects.
• Aligning with IT and data protection teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and handing over applications to operations.
• Tracking relevant trends and developments and using them for analytical solutions.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5-10 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering and Software Development, especially using Microsoft Azure and Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure Functions, Web and Container Apps, AKS, Fabric, Databases, Networking).
• Expertise in DevOps, IaC with bicep and data platforms/AI/ML systems in production.
• Independent way of working, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and manage complex topics.
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
