Senior Engineer - Electrical

Senior Electrical Engineer to join WSP India with extensive knowledge & experience in building design and supervision projects. Achieve successful co-ordination between disciplines and manage the Quality Assurance system for the project. Manage, direct and supervise direct reports to satisfy the time and quality targets, whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations.

• Review of technical submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals and method statements of all HVAC, Public Health and Fire fighting including coordination with all other discipline requirements of the project and with all the regulatory requirements.
• Respond to contractor’s RFI’s related to discipline works.
•.Design coordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.
• Coordination with Structural / Architectural /ID/Electrical/ELV Disciplines.
•.Excellent working knowledge of CIBSE/ASHRAE , NFPA, FLS code, UAE, KSA & Qatar Local authority Codes and regulations.
• Review of all the handing over documents of the project like O&M, Warranty etc.
• Report to project lead and update on issues as required.

• Education - Mtech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
• Familiar with BS and American standards, Presentation Skills Microsoft applications, particularly word and excel.
• Electrical Design: Circuit design, schematics, CAD software
• Power Systems: High voltage, power distribution, load calculations
• Compliance: Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC)
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Electrical testing equipment, fault diagnosis
• Project Management: Planning, scheduling, resource allocation
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP
• Safety: Electrical safety protocols, risk assessment
• Communication: Technical documentation, team collaboration.
