Senior Engineer Electronics Design

Work within the R&D department to design, develop, and document electronic products from concept through delivery. The role contributes with expertise in high-temperature analog electronics, system design, and product validation, ensuring reliable and innovative solutions for downhole applications

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic products and systems.
  • Develop analog electronics, including schematics, simulations, and PCB layouts.
  • Build, test, and document prototypes.
  • Participate in development projects from concept through delivery.
  • Support and improve existing products.
  • Develop test setups and perform verification and qualification activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, assembly procedures, and QA documentation.
  • Work closely with suppliers and colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Provide technical support to operational activities when needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design and product development.
  • Strong Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
