Job Mission
- Supporting tool installation, startup, qualification, and production ramp activities.
- Providing day-to-day process support to ensure stable and efficient high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
- Troubleshooting process, yield, and equipment-related issues using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Developing and optimizing process recipes to improve process capability, throughput, yield, and cost of ownership (CoO).
- Designing and executing process experiments (DOE) to evaluate new process conditions, hardware changes, and performance improvements.
- Monitoring tool and process performance, analyzing data trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with customers, field service engineers, and product engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
- Supporting hardware, software, and process evaluations, and providing recommendations based on technical and data-driven assessments.
- Acting as a trusted technical partner to customers by providing timely support and helping them achieve their manufacturing objectives.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence in a semiconductor fab environment.
What we are looking for
- Minimum Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication, equipment engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes such as ALD, PEALD, CVD, Epitaxy, Furnace, or thin-film deposition technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with process characterization, DOE, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with process monitoring, SPC, JMP, Minitab, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and supporting critical customer escalations when needed.
