Senior Engineer, Geotechnical Engineering (Tunnelling works)

WSP is looking for Candidate who should hold experience minimum of 10+ years on Geotechnical engineering with specialization in Tunnelling works, underground structures, excavation and lateral support (ELS) systems

• Carry out detailed design of tunnels and underground structures in soft ground and hard rock, including TBM, Drill & Blast and Mined Tunnels

• Carry out geotechnical and structural analysis for the proposed design

• Prepare submission reports for the detailed design including reports, drawings and specifications

• Coordinate with CAD team to prepare the drawings

• Formulate the preliminary construction methodologies based on geological and site constraints

• Other duties as assigned/required.

• Education - Masters in Geotechnical Engineering

• Chartered Civil/ Geotechnical Engineer (MICE or equivalent)

• 10+ years of relevant design experience in geotechnical, tunnels, underground structures and excavation and lateral support (ELS) systems

• Sound knowledge in geotechnical and structural engineering

• Familiar to use geotechnical and structural engineering software including but not limited to PLAXIS, FREW, SAP2000, FLAC etc.

BGV:

• Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
