Job's mission
What you will be working on
-
Lead advanced troubleshooting activities involving mechanical, electrical, software, vacuum, gas delivery, and process-related equipment issues.

Support customer site start-ups, tool qualification, and production ramp activities to ensure successful deployment of ASM equipment.

Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for critical customer and field escalations.

Act as a technical interface between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service, and customers to resolve complex system-level challenges.

Lead beta evaluations, product upgrades, and engineering validation activities at customer sites.

Develop and execute action plans to improve equipment performance, reliability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Mentor Field Service Engineers and junior support engineers through technical coaching and knowledge sharing.

Prepare technical reports, troubleshooting documentation, and best practice guides to support global service organizations.

Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and field readiness programs.
What we are looking for
-
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, product engineering, or technical support roles.

Strong experience in semiconductor capital equipment troubleshooting and system-level problem solving.

Proven ability to perform structured root cause analysis and drive issues to resolution.

Experience supporting customer-facing technical activities and managing complex escalations.

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capability.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
What sets you apart

Experience with ALD, CVD, PECVD, EPI, or other advanced semiconductor deposition technologies.

Prior experience in Product Support, Total Product Support, Systems Engineering, Equipment Engineering, or New Product Introduction (NPI) functions.

Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and customer fab operations.

Experience leading equipment installation, qualification, startup, or technology transfer projects.

Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and develop field engineering capabilities.

Experience working directly with global customers and cross-regional engineering organizations.

Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.

Strong English communication skills with the ability to present technical topics to customers and global stakeholders.
