Job's mission
What you will be working on

Act as the system-level expert for new Epi products, supporting product evaluations, installations, and HVM readiness.

Collaborate closely with Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Process, and Software Engineering teams to provide field feedback and improve product performance.

Support new product development by representing customer and service requirements, including design for serviceability and manufacturability.

Lead critical field issue investigations, working with local and global teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Own first-in-fab (Alpha/Beta) customer deployments, driving fab readiness, installation, start-up, and production qualification activities.

Monitor tool performance and uptime, ensuring customer issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Develop and maintain service documentation, maintenance procedures, and best-known methods for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Drive issue resolution during beta testing and HVM production phases, serving as the primary technical interface between customers and ASM.

Define spare parts strategies and critical parts lists to support successful new product introductions.

Prepare and deliver regular status updates, technical reports, and improvement plans for internal and customer stakeholders.

Travel to customer sites globally to support product evaluations, installations, and escalations as required.
What we are looking for
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 7 years of experience within the semiconductor equipment industry.

Strong experience supporting Epitaxy (Epi) process equipment in a customer-facing, service, support, or engineering role.

Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and device fabrication.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive resolution across cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent Korean and business-level English communication skills.

Willingness to travel internationally up to 25-40% depending on business and product needs.
What sets you apart

Direct experience with ASM Epitaxy products or advanced deposition technologies.

Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI), Alpha/Beta evaluations, or first-in-fab customer deployments.

Knowledge of ALD, CVD, or Etch process equipment and related semiconductor applications.

Strong project management and customer escalation management experience.
-
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions in a global environment.

Experience supporting leading semiconductor manufacturers such as Samsung, SK hynix, TSMC, Micron, or other advanced logic/memory customers.
