You will spearhead the migration of two native apps into a single cross-platform codebase, working autonomously to define strategy, make architecture decisions, and deliver production-ready mobile features. You will use AI-assisted tools and Figma-to-code workflows to accelerate development, write comprehensive tests, enforce security and quality standards, and collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements and resolve risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the cross-platform migration to a shared Flutter codebase
  • Analyze Swift and Kotlin codebases and define a structured migration strategy
  • Deliver a feature-complete cross-platform application that preserves native performance and UX
  • Identify risks, propose trade-offs, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Use AI coding assistants to accelerate code generation, refactoring, and test authoring
  • Leverage Figma-to-code workflows to scaffold UI components from designer handoffs
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit and widget tests
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and designers to translate needs into technical solutions
  • Participate in design reviews and provide early technical feedback
  • Own app architecture decisions including state management, navigation, and data layer
  • Enforce security best practices around authentication, encryption, secure storage, and privacy
  • Set and uphold code quality standards via code review, linting, and automated testing pipelines
  • Manage app submission and release processes for App Store and Google Play

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Flutter and Dart, including widget lifecycle and platform channels
  • Strong understanding of state management (Riverpod, Bloc, or similar)
  • Solid experience with at least one native platform (Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android)
  • Demonstrated professional use of AI coding tools for code generation, test writing, or design-to-code pipelines
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with proactive issue identification and solution proposals
  • Proven track record of submitting and shipping apps to both the App Store and Google Play
  • Experience in the financial sector, ideally crypto, DeFi, or digital assets (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with MCP and Figma API integrations for automated UI code generation (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance for financial apps including end-to-end encryption, secure key storage, biometric authentication, and GDPR (nice to have)
  • Contributions to open-source Flutter packages or a visible portfolio of published apps (nice to have)
