Join Exyte as a Senior Engineer Process and take a leading role in designing state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical facilities. In this position, you will independently drive process engineering activities, contribute your technical expertise across all project phases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions. You will play a key role in shaping innovative facility concepts while ensuring alignment with GMP standards, project timelines, and budgets.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Independently execute all aspects of process design across project phases
• Develop and optimize internal tools, procedures, and engineering standards
• Act as work package owner and contribute to facility concept and room layout design
• Create and review Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, mass balances, and P&IDs
• Participate in HAZOP, GMP reviews, FATs, and SATs
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
• Support and guide junior engineers and share technical knowledge
• Ensure alignment with project budget, schedule, and interdisciplinary interfaces
• Contribute specialized expertise in clean utilities (PW, WFI, CIP, etc.) and/or pharmaceutical processes (USP, DSP, formulation, etc.)

Show your expertise

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the design of biopharmaceutical facilities
• Proven experience across all engineering design phases
• In-depth knowledge of facility and equipment design, including GMP and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present structured and convincing arguments
• Leadership capabilities and a detail-oriented, focused working style
• Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel regularly within France as part of project execution
• Ability to work independently and manage external stakeholders confidently
