Job Description
- Deliver public cloud engineering activities that support reliable technology platforms.
- Develop and maintain DevSecOps engineering practices across technology delivery work.
- Build and improve cloud-based solutions to meet operational requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security measures following DevSecOps principles.
- Embed security considerations into engineering activities and deployment processes.
- Work with Technology colleagues to resolve cloud platform issues and improve service reliability.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for public cloud and DevSecOps solutions.
- Review engineering outcomes and identify practical improvements to cloud delivery.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for cloud environment
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
- Documentation of architecture, standards, and patterns.
- Strong communication, collaboration and presentation abilities
