Senior Engineering Manager

GlossGenius is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own a multi-team domain, bring structure to complexity, and raise the bar for engineering excellence. This role is responsible for setting the technical direction, shaping team operations, and connecting engineering work to business outcomes. You will act as a force multiplier for your direct reports, cross-functional partners, and collaborating teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Own execution across multiple teams, driving complex, multi-team initiatives to completion by aligning priorities, managing scope trade-offs, and maintaining a consistent quality bar
  • Shape the 6-12 month technical vision for your domain, anticipating platform needs, scaling challenges, and integration requirements
  • Influence roadmap and prioritization by bringing technical depth and customer perspective, connecting engineering work to company OKRs
  • Develop high-potential ICs toward future leadership roles, run 1:1s focused on leadership growth, and create forums for cross-team learning
  • Partner with product and design to shape what gets built and why, including owning 0-to-1 initiatives from inception to launch and partnering with recruiting to attract and retain top talent

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3+ years managing or leading software engineering teams in a high-growth product environment
  • Demonstrate strong technical judgment, can evaluate architectural trade-offs, and make difficult technical decisions under uncertainty
  • Have a track record of collaborating with product and design to ship from 0 to 1
  • Have demonstrated ability to develop engineers and can show the impact of your mentorship
  • Possess strong business acumen and customer-centric instincts, with comfort using data to inform decisions
  • Connect engineering decisions to customer outcomes
  • Have integrated AI tooling into your engineering workflow in a meaningful way

Total Compensation

The base salary range is $230,000-$280,000 plus equity and benefits. The compensation package is dependent on skills, experience, and other factors.
