Job Description:
PROMIS System Administration:
• Administer and maintain the PROMIS system, including system configuration, user accounts, access rights, roles, and workflow settings.
• Maintain manufacturing data such as products, processes, routes, equipment, recipes, lot information, and production parameters.
• Monitor PROMIS system availability, transaction status, system performance, and data integrity.
• Provide technical support to production, equipment engineering, process engineering, IT, and other system users.
• Manage system changes, enhancements, configuration updates, and version upgrades in accordance with company procedures.
Automation and System Integration:
• Support the design, installation, modification, and integration of automation systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Maintain the interface between PROMIS and manufacturing equipment, MES, PLCs, robots, SCADA, ERP, databases, and other factory systems.
• Support equipment automation interfaces, including SECS/GEM, host communication, data collection, and production transaction flows.
• Work closely with equipment engineering, IT, production, and process teams to ensure smooth integration between manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Analyze system and equipment transactions to identify communication, data mapping, and process-flow issues.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
• Diagnose and resolve PROMIS-related issues, including transaction failures, incorrect manufacturing data, workflow errors, system interface problems, and user access issues.
• Support troubleshooting of automation-related problems involving PLCs, robots, SCADA systems, and semiconductor equipment.
• Perform routine system checks, log reviews, health monitoring, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring system and automation issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Provide on-call or off-hours support when required by the 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in automation, equipment engineering, manufacturing systems, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing processes, factory automation, or manufacturing execution systems (MES) will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES), preferably PROMIS.
• Knowledge of equipment communication protocols such as SECS/GEM and factory system integration concepts.
• Ability to analyze system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Willingness to provide support in a dynamic 24/7 manufacturing environment when required.
