Summary
Maintains and improves semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom, focusing on uptime, defect reduction, and hardware capability using PVD processes.
You will be responsible and focus on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime requirements.
Jobscope:
- Maintain equipment performance in cleanroom environment for quality production.
- Continually improve tool uptime availability, drive defect reduction and enhance hardware capability.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and improve MTBC.
- Analyze FDC data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
- Provide On Job Training for junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Drive cost reduction projects.
- Work with equipment vendors, Hookup and Facility Team to perform tool relocation, startup and commissioning.
- Communicate with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
- Maintain work environment 5S.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in Thin film (PVD)
- Experience working in PVD Endura or LAM Sabre (Cu Plating).
- General knowledge of Risk Assessment, 8D, Ishikawa and Root Cause tools.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
