Infor is seeking a Senior ERP Business Analyst to join our Manufacturing ERP team. This role sits at the intersection of business processes and software delivery, helping translate complex business requirements into scalable product solutions.
You will work closely with Product Management, Development, Support, and domain experts to analyze business needs, define functional requirements, and drive product improvements for customers in the manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate brings strong ERP and manufacturing business knowledge combined with a highly analytical mindset. Technical knowledge such as SQL or development experience is beneficial but not required.
This role also offers exposure to strategic product modernization initiatives, including future migration and transformation activities across the Infor ERP portfolio.
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for ERP product enhancements and customer-driven initiatives.
• Working closely with Product Management, Development, and Support teams to define functional solutions.
• Translating business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyzing manufacturing and business processes to identify improvements and efficiencies.
• Supporting functional, integration, and system testing of new product functionality.
• Participating in design reviews to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Investigating product behavior, business scenarios, and customer-reported issues to support solution design.
• Building expertise in manufacturing ERP processes and contributing to product evolution and modernization initiatives.

- Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, ERP Consultant, or similar role.
- Experience working with ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes within discrete manufacturing organizations.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams in an Agile environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Experience working with ERP solutions supporting manufacturing, finance, or supply chain business processes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or a programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Pascal, or similar is highly desirable
- German language skills.
- Exposure to software development or programming concepts.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, or migrations.
- Experience working with Infor ERP solutions such as COM or LN.
- Familiarity with product discovery and modern requirements engineering practices.
- Understanding of integration concepts and enterprise software architecture.
