Senior Estimation Lead
Job Purpose To prepare accurate cost estimates based on enquiry documentation & ensure that returned quotation comply with requirement. Core Responsibilities: - Study enquiry documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), scope of work, contract details and conditions to establish the exact requirements. - Discuss with Sales Department / Estimation Coordinator regarding the specifications / requirements of the Clients. - Liaise with construction / operations team to establish execution / method statements and reflect the same in estimation. - Study and interpret Engineering drawings and technical specifications to develop manufacturing process flows. - Establish direct cost resources required to execute various activities. - Where exact requirements cannot be ascertained, clarifications to be sought or stated assumptions to be made. - Visit site or arrange for Site Visit to establish / verify details of the same. - Seek subcontract prices for scope of work not to be undertaken by the company. - Study tender BOQ, quantities take off, sending enquiries to the / subcontractors vendors to get competitive quotations. - Liaise with Design Department for any Preliminary drawings. - Prepare estimate using appropriate software and discuss the same with Sales Department / Estimation Coordinator.
Background & Experience (years) - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. - 7-10 years Professional experience. - Experience using MS Excel and Word. - Knowledge in Estimation software is a must.
