Senior Estimator, Commercial – Fort Worth, TX

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Estimator, Commercial

General Role Description\:

· Support pre-proposal activities and reviews to ensure proposal requirements are clearly defined

· Utilizes historical data in the preparation of material cost estimates to support pricing requests

· Request and review inputs from functional areas, Bell off-sites, and quotes from suppliers as needed

· Perform quality review of cost estimates to ensure data is current, accurate, and complete

· Ensure all proposal schedules are adhered to in accordance with RFQ/RFP/RFI requirements

· Assist company personnel in support of audits and negotiations with customers as required

Specific to Commercial Role\:

· Price request types include Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) regarding commercial aircraft sales, commercial spares, commercial repair and overhaul, and foreign military sales

· Work closely with all functional areas including Sales, Contracts, Training, Operations, Spares, Finance analysts, Supply Chain, Engineering, and others

· Support build-up of proposal / estimate package and files

· Assist others with understanding any cost and price inquiries
