Senior ETL Tester (With Enterprise Data Warehouse experience)

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱100,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data QA Engineer with ETL testing experience to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across various data sources and target systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience in data warehouse testing, and the ability to verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity throughout ETL pipelines. The candidate will work closely with data engineers, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure data meets business requirements and quality standards.

Generic responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading

• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity between source and target systems

• Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data transformations, mappings, and business rules

• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation

• Test data migration, data integration, data warehouse, and data pipeline processes

• Identify, document, track, and report data defects and inconsistencies

• Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and data validation testing

• Validate data transformation logic, calculations, aggregations, and business rules

• Test ETL workflows and monitor data processing results

• Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in ETL testing, data testing, or data warehouse testing

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data comparison

• Hands-on experience testing ETL workflows and data integration processes

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data mapping, and source-to-target validation

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing methodologies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
