Senior Event Analyst Third Party Risk Management TPRM
You will analyze and coordinate third-party cybersecurity and operational events from intake through closure. You will assess cyber impacts, support incident response and escalation, communicate with stakeholders, challenge vendor assessments, document decisions, identify control gaps, contribute to reporting and metrics, and support resilience and response program improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage third-party cyber events from intake through closure
- Participate in cybersecurity incident response activities
- Coordinate post-event reviews
- Support remediation planning and follow-up activities
- Provide on-call support for significant incident response activities as needed
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Prepare communications for leadership and stakeholders
- Partner with cybersecurity, risk, and business teams
- Support external engagement and stakeholder reporting
- Identify, escalate, and follow up on issues
- Document and enhance processes
- Maintain audit-ready records
- Assist with audit and regulatory exam preparation
- Support training exercises for third-party response activities
- Enhance reporting and analytical capabilities
- Develop regular and ad hoc reporting
- Maintain program metrics
- Support executive reporting and event analytics
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, incident response, or a related field
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity controls, incident response, or technology control environments
- Experience managing third-party and supply chain cyber incidents
- Familiarity with NIST, FFIEC, or other relevant industry guidance
- Experience with ServiceNow, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms
- Familiarity with third-party risk and cybersecurity laws, regulations, or oversight expectations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple assignments
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally
