Applications are invited for the appointment as Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the School of Future Media (SFM) (Ref.: 537325) to commence on as soon as possible, on two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and operational needs.

The appointee will be responsible for supporting the administrative tasks, event logistics and programme management of the SFM, with major duties including:

• Supporting administrative duties for special initiatives and projects under the SFM;
• Assisting in the planning, organisation and execution of publicity events and enrichment activities, such as student ambassador scheme, Information Day, alumni gathering, summer programmes, talks, seminars and workshops, etc;
• Coordinating tasks with external and internal units; and
• Performing any duties as assigned by the School Director

The appointee may be required to work overtime as and when necessary.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. Fluency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required. They should have good written and oral communication skills as well as organisational skills, the ability to work independently and under pressure, and proficiency in IT such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. They should also be self-motivated, and be able to effectively interact with people from diverse cultures. Experience in programme administration or event planning is a definite advantage.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
