Job Responsibilities:
- Manage key customer accounts, including RFQs, tenders, negotiations, and business reviews.
- Manage assigned VIP Regional Accounts (R/A) and maintain strong relationships with regional and local customers.
- Drive Regional Account and Backhaul volume growth by identifying opportunities and securing support on key trade lanes.
- Understand customer requirements and work closely with internal Trade and Pricing teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Participate in RFQ/tender exercises, customer presentations, tender negotiations and business review meetings.
- Review customer RFQs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on freight rates, service schedules, routings and tender proposals.
- Conduct customer visits and follow up on business opportunities, customer feedback and market developments.
- Provide prompt and proactive support on customer enquiries relating to contracts, freight rates, vessel space, equipment availability, free time, B/L, credit, claims, EDI and payments.
- Coordinate nomination announcements with relevant RCL offices and agents upon receiving customer tender results.
- Ensure quotations, rates and free-time information are created and updated accurately and promptly in DCS.
- Manage and maintain e-Service representative setups to facilitate e-bookings for Regional Account customers.
- Review and approve relevant amendments in DCS, including customer codes, charge codes, incorrect charges and CODs.
- Monitor and analyse customer lifting performance against nominated volumes and provide relevant updates and reports.
- Support the immediate supervisor in business analysis, reporting, presentations and meetings.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on tender management, DCS processes and e-Service setup.
- Undertake other projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement:
- Degree in Maritime Studies/ Logistics & Supply Chain/ related field of studies.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
