Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Research | 1-Year Contract | Research & Insights

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage qualitative and quantitative research projects from planning through reporting.
  • Conduct literature reviews, background research, and contextual analysis.
  • Develop and refine questionnaires, discussion guides, screeners, and other research materials.
  • Plan sampling approaches, project timelines, fieldwork requirements, resources, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate fieldwork with internal teams, vendors, and local/international research partners.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and research quality.
  • Clean, structure, and process data for analysis and reporting.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify key trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Translate research findings into clear commentary, recommendations, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare professional reports, presentations, charts, and data visualisations.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, project updates, requirements, and feedback.
  • For Assistant Manager-level candidates, review junior team members' work and provide guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; backgrounds in Business, Statistics, Social Sciences, Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Analytics, Project Management, or related fields are advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in market research, policy research, social research, industry research, or related areas.
  • Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Good project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail across research design, fieldwork, data quality, analysis, and reporting.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of projects and deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including PivotTables and data visualisation.
  • Knowledge of SPSS, Python, R, SQL, or other analytical tools is advantageous.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
