Senior Executive, Cloud Security

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is responsible in securing cloud infrastructure and services by implementing cloud security controls and supporting secure cloud adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and maintain security controls across AWS environments.

• Review and secure AWS services, including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.

• Establish and maintain cloud security architecture, standards, guardrails, and best practices.

• Perform cloud security risk assessments, configuration reviews, and security posture evaluations.

• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, suspicious activities, and configuration drifts.

• Support security incident investigations involving cloud resources and workloads.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure cloud deployments and compliance requirements are met.

• Support regulatory audits, cloud security assessments, and third-party security reviews.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with specialization in Computer Science / IT Security / Cyber Security

Work Experience

• 1 to 3 years of working experience in IT

Skills & Competencies

• AWS security services, AWS well-architected framework, CSPM, etc.
