Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as a Senior Executive-Divisional Lean Enterprise. This role will enable you to Oversee and drive the implementation of MOS initiatives within the assigned sub pillars by driving radical changes and moving the allocated pillars from the current state to the desired future state by providing continuous improvement of activities in order to deliver higher value addition, leaner processes and achievement of the desired calibration levels for the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the assigned sub-pillars by developing and improving the current state of the assigned pillar in order to deliver high value additions and drive a culture of continuous improvement and be accountable for the successful rollout of the assigned projects.
- Analyse and interpret common business operations technical KPI reports and other related documents to understand the current state of the pillars and drive continuous improvements to achieve set objectives for the division.
- Work in collaboration with management (Sponsor) to identify training gaps based on the current knowledge base and develop zonal and divisional forums to bridge the gaps thereby ensuring teams are developed and well equipped to take the unit to the desired phase.
- Conduct audits within the assigned sub pillar and report the findings to plant/front end management and MOS team whilst regularly conducting follow up sessions to develop achievement of MOS calibration roadmap set.
- Network with consultants, Group MOS and other internal & external teams to identify and share best practices and demonstrate ability to implement and eventually standardize these across the assigned sub pillars in the division to achieve leaner and efficient processes.
- Effectively present information from team member level to leadership to convince, influence and develop problem solving initiatives/ solutions to support construction decision making within the assigned pillar for the respective unit/ division.
- Engage in Gemba Walks, speak with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders and process owners on a regular basis to understand the current situation, identify process deviation and involve all stakeholders in maintaining & improving the standards established
- Gather and monitor relevant data from respective Department Heads, prepare KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) periodically and share Factory and Department KPI reports with senior management to ensure actions / milestones are achieved within the
agreed timeframes whilst supporting management in effective/ timely decision making - Train, develop and supervise Executives/ staff grade employees on MOS related functions such that they have the right skill set/ competencies to achieve set objectives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Lean Manufacturing, Textile Technology, Physical Science, Applied Mathematics, Textile / Mechanical / Electronics / Chemical /Production / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Fashion Design and Product Development Engineering or any other relevant field / equivalent professional qualification.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Possess Blue Belt certification
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Prior MOS and business knowhow is essential
- Sound knowledge in Excel, MS Word and power BI
