Senior Executive, Human Resources (Payroll)
Payroll and Insurance Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring salaries are processed accurately and paid on time.
- Administer statutory payroll requirements, including mandatory contributions, government-paid leave claims and regulatory submissions.
- Manage annual employee income tax reporting, tax clearance and other payroll-related compliance matters.
- Prepare payroll reports and analyses to support management reporting, financial reconciliation and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete payroll records in accordance with internal controls, company policies and audit standards.
- Maintain and update employees’ payroll and HR information in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality and integrity.
- Manage employee insurance programmes, including enrolment, policy updates, renewals and termination of coverage.
- Coordinate insurance claims and liaise with employees, insurers and brokers to ensure claims are processed promptly.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and ensure employees’ coverage information is kept up to date.
- Review insurance policies, coverage and utilisation to support renewals and ensure they meet the organisation’s requirements.
- Handle payroll- and insurance-related enquiries and provide guidance to employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Review and improve payroll and insurance workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
- Guide and develop the HR team to maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Requirement:
Min Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Human Resource or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
Good knowledge of the Employment Act, HR regulations, and payroll practices.
Detail-oriented and problem solver
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
