SENIOR EXECUTIVE – OPERATIONS

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day automotive logistics, inbound transportation, and yard operations.
• Manage and oversee outstation logistics yard operations, including operational coordination, security, infrastructure, and facility requirements.
• Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, leave, productivity, and overall operational performance.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and operational audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Monitor vehicle movements, daily log sheets, operational documentation, system updates, and invoicing requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe, roadworthy, and operational condition, while following up on damages, breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate effectively with drivers, customers, vendors, internal teams, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements and maintain relevant documentation and records.
• Identify operational issues, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze accurate operational reports and performance records.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet management, automotive logistics, transportation, yard operations, or a related field.
• Experience in automotive logistics, vehicle yard operations, project logistics, or port-related operations will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of port procedures, vehicle handling, and port operations will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, transportation coordination, safety requirements, and operational documentation.
