SENIOR EXECUTIVE RECRUITER

Compensation: $60k – $90k • No equity

Position Overview An experienced Senior Executive Recruiter / Recruitment Lead with a strong background in executive search, technical recruitment, electrical engineering, electric utilities, and public-sector management recruitment. Should have demonstrated experience identifying, sourcing, evaluating, and presenting highly qualified engineering and management professionals for specialized positions within municipal utilities, government agencies, or related organizations. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle executive and professional recruitment for specialized electrical engineering and utility management positions. Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to identify qualified engineering and management professionals. Source candidates with experience in electrical transmission and distribution, substations, utility infrastructure, and electric utility operations. Recruit management-level professionals with experience in public-sector organizations, municipal utilities, and engineering leadership. Conduct targeted searches, direct outreach, professional networking, and passive candidate sourcing. Review candidate qualifications, including educational credentials, professional licenses, relevant experience, work authorization, and compensation expectations. Conduct preliminary screening interviews and evaluate candidates' technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and organizational fit. Prepare and present qualified candidate shortlists with screening summaries and recommendations. Coordinate recruitment activities with hiring managers and client stakeholders. Develop recruitment timelines, monitor search progress, and maintain accurate recruitment documentation. Support Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting and recruitment compliance requirements. Required Skills and Experience Proven experience in executive search, professional recruitment, or specialized technical recruitment. Demonstrated experience recruiting Electrical Engineers, Engineering Managers, or other technical professionals. Experience recruiting professionals within electric utilities, power transmission and distribution, or related engineering industries. Experience recruiting management and leadership positions, preferably within public-sector or municipal organizations. Strong understanding of candidate sourcing, passive talent identification, screening, qualification assessment, and recruitment coordination. Ability to assess engineering qualifications, management experience, professional credentials, and salary alignment. Strong stakeholder management, interviewing, communication, and recruitment project management skills. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of experience in professional recruitment, executive search, or technical talent acquisition. Prior experience recruiting for municipal electric utilities or government agencies. Successful experience filling Electrical Engineering Manager, Utility Engineering Manager, or similar technical leadership positions. Experience managing specialized recruitment searches from initial sourcing through final candidate presentation.
