SENIOR EXECUTIVE, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT (FULL STACK)

Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000 per month

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend systems.

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications.

• Develop scalable backend services, RESTful, APIs, PHP, NET Core, and integrations with third-party systems.

• Develop responsive web, mobile, and desktop applications using Angular, Ionic, and Electron.

• Design and optimize data models, database queries, and application data flows.

• Design and develop scalable, optimize SQL queries, modular, views, reusable software components, and database structures.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Apply good engineering practices across security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality.

• Explore and contribute to Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities where relevant to product or project requirements.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, cloud engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Contribute to engineering standards, technical documentation, reusable components, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

• Assist in software deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Take ownership of technical areas or workstreams and provide implementation guidance when needed.

• Participate in R&D and technology evaluation for continuous product improvement.

• Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.

• To carry out any other duty & responsibility as needed for which the company may assign from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 4 – 6 years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience across both frontend and backend development.

• Proficient in using Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Good communication and proficiency skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

• Strong proficiency in C#, PHP, NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and MS SQL Server.

• Strong backend development experience using PHP, NET / ASP.NET Core, Node.js / TypeScript, or comparable technologies.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating external systems.

• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, modern software architecture, and application security fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL.

• Understanding of database design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.

• Experience with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.

• Familiar with state management and component-based frontend development.

• Experience in developing cross-platform applications using Ionic and/or Electron will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Ability to work independently, make practical technical decisions, and contribute effectively within a cross-functional team.

• Able to manage multiple assignments independently while working effectively in a team environment.
