Senior Export Compliance Manager

The Senior Export Compliance Manager will manage the corporate export compliance program and serve as the company's subject matter expert for U.S. export regulations, licensing, sanctions, and government agency interactions. The responsibilities go beyond operational filing and include program management, training, risk assessments, and regulatory engagement.

The Senior Export Compliance Manager is responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
• Administering the U.S. Compliance Program
• Acting as the primary government contact
• Conducting risk assessments
• Training all staff
• Representing Compliance to local management
• Advising customers on licensing and classification

Export Filing & Licensing
• AES/EEI filings audits
• Census reporting requirements
• SNAP-R license applications
• License exceptions
• Deemed export analysis
• Routed export transactions

Regulatory Expertise
• Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• BIS licensing requirements
• OFAC sanctions
• Anti-boycott regulations
• End-use/end-user reviews
• Restricted party screening

Classification
• ECCN classification
• Schedule B classification
• Understanding of HTS correlations
• Dual-use goods analysis
• Technology and software exports

Government Interaction
• Responding to BIS inquiries
• Handling Census AES compliance issues
• CBP export-related inquiries
• Voluntary self-disclosures when required- with counsel involvement

7-10 years of demonstrated export compliance experience with:

• EEI/AES filing and troubleshooting
• SNAP-R license applications and management
• BIS, Census, and CBP regulations
• EAR classification (ECCN determinations)
• Schedule B classification
• Restricted party screening and sanctions compliance
• Internal compliance audits
• Developing compliance SOPs
• Client advisory support

Certifications:
• CES (Certified Export Specialist)
• CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) not required but helpful
