Senior / Facilities Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal partners and vendors to coordinate hook up works (such as tie-in exhaust for new and/or relocated tools). Commissioning tasks and executing Facility work request.
- Subject matter expert for Mechanical systems and equipment covering Chilled Water System, cleanroom ACMV system(covering Make-Up Air units, Dry Coils system (PACs), FFUs and HEPA/UPLA filtration),Exhaust system (covering General, Scrubber and Organic) and Process Vacuum system.
- Work closely and liaise with FacilitiesOperation Engineer/s on predictive maintenance program and upkeep of above-mentionedFacility systems. Sourcing, managing and follow up with various vendors forrepair, preventive and corrective maintenance works.
- Plan and allocate resources to ensure24/7 continuous system operation, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted plant activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency (water & power), sustainability, and asset reliability while optimizing operational costs.
- Evaluate and drive technical changes through the Change Management Process and implement performance enhancements to minimize downtime and service frequency.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and failure analysis for facilities and utilities systems, supporting maintenance technicians in addressing issues and improving equipment reliability.
- Lead/participate in discrepancy management, root cause identification, and CAPA implementation to prevent recurrence.
- System improvement (addition and alteration works or modification), capacity and system assets tracking. Plan and prepare scope of work for RFQ on mechanical system projects. Supervise and manage the projects & ensure the works are properly executed according to requirements and schedule.
- Work with Facilities operation team on Inventory control of spare parts, tools, renewing licenses, test certificate of Mechanical Equipment.
- Support various external/internal audits by internal partners/customers to meet authority/customer requirement.
- Site verification and preparation of Permit to Work to ensure compliance of safety regulations and proper housekeeping.
- Develop, review and/or update operating procedures and work instructions.
- Guide and train shift AE/Technicians to resolve system problems.
- Any other assigned activities/tasks as and when assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma holders in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Facilities. Preferably from Semiconductor Manufacturing or Electronic manufacturing industry.
- Experience in dealing with Mechanical Systems and equipment hook-up (ACMV/Exhaust system/Vacuum)
- Must be a team player with the right attitude and aptitude.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needs arise.
- Willing to operate on 24/7 standby
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager(SCEM) is a must
