Location

St. Petersburg, FL. This is a full-time, primarily on-site leadership opportunity with flexibility for remote work when responsibilities allow. Court appearances throughout the surrounding Florida counties are required.

Note

Candidates must be active members in good standing with The Florida Bar, have 4+ years of Florida family law experience, extensive litigation experience, and have handled at least 10 family law trials in Florida. Strong technology skills and proficiency with AI tools, or a willingness to learn, are essential.

Job Description

• Lead complex divorce, child custody, support, and other family law matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Manage a substantial caseload, including litigation, negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated team of attorneys and legal professionals.
• Develop effective case strategies and deliver exceptional representation for clients.
• Delegate responsibilities, oversee case progress, and maintain high standards of legal work.
• Monitor performance metrics, deadlines, and team productivity to ensure excellent results.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to improve workflows, client experience, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to strengthen productivity and legal service delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of Florida family law experience with substantial litigation and trial experience.
• At least 10 completed family law trials in Florida.
• Strong courtroom advocacy, case management, and client communication skills.
• Ability to mentor others, manage priorities, and maintain accountability for results.
• Technology-savvy mindset and enthusiasm for learning AI-enabled legal tools.
• Emotional intelligence, professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and a collaborative attitude.
• Prior law firm ownership, solo practice, or legal team leadership strongly preferred.
• Board Certification in Family Law is a plus.
