Perform daily dairy farm operations including milking, cattle care, pasture management, and machinery maintenance in South Australia.
Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Senior Farm Hands/Farm Hands across South-East South Australia, Australia. The farms are located in the Mount Gambier Region.
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the
management team in managing a dairy operation.
The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:
- Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
- Animal Health and Record Management
- All aspects of milking and general farm duties
- Feeding of cattle and feeding plans
- Animal Husbandry
- Pasture Management
- Machinery operation
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Supervise work routines and staff performance for dairy cattle farmers - farm hands.
The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
- Minimum of 3 years of dairy industry experience
- Certificate III or relevant equivalent
- Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Team Player.
