Senior Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support and maintain the PVA TePla SAM Autowafer, a 12-inch wafer scanning acoustic microscope system used in semiconductor inspection. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of semiconductor or precision automation equipment.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of FSE experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, or precision inspection machinery
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and working with control cabinets, PLC I/O, 24VDC systems, and safety circuits
• Experience with mechanical assemblies, robotics, pneumatics, and motion systems

Familiarity with DI water systems, pumps, valves, sensors, and leak testing

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, calibration support, and fault diagnosis
• Knowledge of LOTO, machine safety, PPE, and semiconductor equipment safety practices
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites and communicating clearly with customers and internal teams
• English communication ability for manuals, reporting, and technical support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor wafer handling equipment or inspection tools

Familiarity with Siemens PLC / HMI systems and industrial Ethernet networks

• Experience supporting robotic handling systems, loadports, pre-aligners, scanners, and transducers
• Cleanroom or fab environment experience is a plus
