Senior Finance Analyst — The Flex
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst — The Flex based in Brazil.
This is a high-impact finance role within a fast-growing international business operating at the intersection of real estate, hospitality, and technology.
You will help build and strengthen the financial infrastructure supporting a multi-country operation.
The role spans financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and business performance analysis.
You will work closely with operations, revenue management, property teams, and senior leadership to turn financial data into actionable decisions.
There is also a strong focus on automation, process improvement, and using technology and AI to modernize finance operations.
With significant ownership from day one, the position offers substantial exposure to strategic decisions and business performance.

Accountabilities
- Own and improve day-to-day financial reporting and controls, ensuring management information is complete, accurate, validated, and properly supported.
- Identify manual and repetitive finance activities and design more efficient workflows, collaborating with technical teams to automate processes where possible.
- Reconcile payments from booking platforms, direct bookings, and other distribution channels, ensuring expected funds are received accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments, investigate discrepancies, and ensure transactions are correctly recorded.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier invoices and company expenses.
- Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions, working with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners.
- Support financial statements for landlords and property owners where required.
- Build dashboards and reporting systems that provide management with timely visibility into business performance.
- Analyze financial performance by property, city, country, and business unit, identifying trends, risks, revenue leakage, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models while monitoring cash flow and future capital requirements.
- Analyze costs and identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce property-level expenses.
- Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and new market launches.
- Present financial insights and recommendations directly to founders and senior management.
- Take increasing ownership of critical areas of the finance function as the business expands.
- Proven experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate, or a high-growth startup environment is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, financial controls, reconciliations, and business performance analysis.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to work confidently with large volumes of financial and operational data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong financial reconciliation, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with an uncompromising commitment to accuracy.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to understand what financial results mean for business performance, profitability, and decision-making.
- Experience building budgets, forecasts, financial models, dashboards, or management reporting.
- High level of ownership, accountability, autonomy, and initiative, with the ability to figure things out independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating directly with senior management.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Strong interest in technology, automation, and AI, with the ability to identify opportunities to make finance processes more efficient.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or another analytical discipline is preferred; exceptional candidates from other backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
