Senior Finance Director/ Finance Director

Responsibilities:

1.Be the final decision maker for all end-to-end finance and accounting operations, leading the team to ensure smooth execution of all related tasks.

2.Own the financial viability of any strategic business implementation and projects, including assessment of all plans.

3.Manage a team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly book closings, financial statements, and management reports.

4.Decide on new project and system-wide implementation initiatives, establish and enhance internal control frameworks ensuring that projects are carried out smoothly and according to expected timeframe.

5.Review decide on relevant operational issues pertaining to business functions and products.

6.Own any collaboration with product, technology, and other cross-functional teams to proactively address challenges in financial operations to ensure that financial goals are met.

7.Document operational policies and procedures, and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.

8.Liaise with external auditors to ensure the smooth completion of statutory audits.

9.Undertake additional ad-hoc assignments as delegated by senior management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and financial operations; prior experience in a multinational corporation is a plus.

3. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-departmental collaboration.

4. Self-motivated and accountable, with a strong interest in process optimization, project implementation, financial outcomes of roll-out plans relating to strategic business systems and any other system development.

5. Capable of working under pressure with a meticulous and detail-oriented approach, and skilled at identifying and resolving nuanced operational issues.
