Senior Finance Executive
Summary
Leads month-end closing, prepares financial reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards for a reinsurance broker in Singapore using Sun Accounting System and Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end closing process
- Preparation journals, perform bank reconciliation and audit schedules
- Manage full set of accounts for the company and its subsidiaries
- Preparation of monthly premium and cash reports for Singapore and Indonesia
- Handle the quarterly submission of OJK report for Indonesia
- Handle the annual submission of MAS returns
- Liaison with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Ad-hoc reports as and when required
Requirements
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 4 years relevant working experience
- Positive attitude, strong aptitude and high motivation to learn
- Meticulous, able to multi-task and work independently within deadline
- Willingness to handle hands-on manual financial processing and cyclical reporting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Sun Accounting System software
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
