(Senior) Finance Executive

Summary

Oversee day-to-day accounting, prepare financial reports, manage vendor payments, and ensure tax compliance using accounting software like Tally.

The Finance Executive is responsible for handling the day-to-dayaccounting operations of the organization, including preparing and maintainingfinancial records, managing invoices, and ensuring the accuracy of financialdata. The role involves working closely with other members of the finance teamto ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

  1. Financial Reporting:

    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

    • Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.

    • Provide detailed reports on expenses, income, and other financial activities.

  2. Tax Compliance:

    • Assist with the preparation and submission of tax filings (i.e., GST).

    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines.

  3. Internal Controls and Audit Support:

    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

    • Assist with external audits by providing financial data and reports.

    • Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions for regulatory compliance.

  4. Financial Data Accuracy:

    • Ensure that financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in compliance with accounting standards.

    • Review and analyze financial data for inconsistencies or errors and correct discrepancies as needed.

  5. Vendor Management:

    • Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring that billing/credit notes and payments, are done in accordance with payment run schedule and notifying vendors post payment.

    • Respond to inquiries from vendors, and other departments regarding payments.

  6. Financial Systems & Software:

    • Ensure proper use of accounting software (e.g., Tally) to record and process financial data.

    • Assist to improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

      Key Skills & Qualifications:

      • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • At least two (2) years of relevant working experience.
      • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
      • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
      • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.
      • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
      • Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
      • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

      Working Hours: Full-time 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
