Senior Finance Manager (Maritime/Logistic/Group reporting/Treasury/CAS/SAP)

Job Descriptions

  • Strategic and General Management Support: Assist the Department General Manager in formulating and implementing financial strategies, corporate policies and optimizing internal control systems.
  • Financial Operations Analysis: Assist in the preparation, tracking, and evaluation of annual and quarterly budgets; conductfinancial analysis to provide a basis for business decisions; monitor variousexpense metrics.
  • Treasury & Project Management: Oversee cashflow planning, fund efficiency, and security. Pre-review project contract payments and implement strict expense controls.
  • Taxation & Audit: Coordinate tax planning, tax filing preparations, annual audits, and maintain impeccable financial records management.
  • Cross-Border & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise between the Singapore office, China headquarters, and external entities (banks, tax authorities, and audit firms).
  • Listed Company Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with listing rules, disclosure requirements, corporate governance standards, and coordinating quarterly/annual financial announcements.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as the liaison and coordinator between the Finance Department and internal/externalentities (such as banks, tax authorities, and audit firms), as well as otherdepartments within the company.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks such asdrafting departmental documents, conducting data analysis, preparing financial statements (Jiu Qi consolidated financial statements & Jiu Qi (monthlyreports) and arranging meetings.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Professional Degree in Accountancy; CPA/CA equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial managerial experience (preferably relevant experience in the maritime, shipping, logistic industry).
  • Candidates with cumulative working experiencewith at least 5 years at awell-known accounting or audit firm in Singapore is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP software and Bloomberg would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Chinese accounting standards is preferred to support cross-border corporate financial reporting.
  • Listed company background; Prior experience working in apublicly listed company and a strong understanding of listed reporting structure.
  • Strong analytical, problems solving capabilities, meticulous, well organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills asthis role require an active cross-functional dialogue with internal, external stakeholders and associated companies.
