Senior Finance Manager
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Oversee construction project fund utilization, supplier payments, worker salaries, and foreign worker levy payments.
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships, ensuring insurance, guarantees, and financing arrangements comply with Singapore construction industry requirements.
- Establish sound financial governance and internal controls, and coordinate with audits and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular financial analysis and project profitability reports to management and the board.
- Maintain communication with regulatory authorities such as MOM, BCA, and IRAS to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting/Finance; CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred.
- Prior experience in construction or engineering project finance is an advantage; familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and foreign worker levy system preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project cost accounting, cash flow management, and supplier payment processes.
- Solid financial modeling and analytical skills to support project bidding and budget evaluation.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin, able to communicate with local and overseas teams.
- Experience in cross-border financial operations (e.g., processes related to workers from China or other source countries) is a plus.
