Senior Financial Analyst - Finance Operations

Job Overview:
Responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, tracking, analysis and reporting of various financial data for numerous departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations that support the achievement of short and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively support the annual budgeting process by working closely with other departments to produce a quality bottom-up budget
Responsible for preparing reports on monthly financial results and forecasts with detailed analytical support for all projections
Develop analytical models in Excel to support senior management decision making on special projects
Prepare, analyze and present recommendations on financial forecasts, future trends and the impact to operational goals and objectives impacting both short- and long-term financial objectives. Establish and maintain linkages with commercial and operational functions
Seek opportunities to improve efficiency of processes while maintaining accuracy
Analyze weekly and monthly variance reports and provide explanations for deviations
Provide analytical and technical expertise on major initiatives
Responsible for various month end activities
Ensure effective internal controls are in place, monitored, and adhered to throughout the Company

The Recipe for Success:

Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
Minimum 3 years of financial analysis experience
Job specific knowledge of consumer-packaged goods industry and proven financial analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skill building strong relationships with stakeholders
Results oriented with strong attention to detail, initiative and independence
Strong communication skills (verbal and written; strong listening skills).
Proven initiative and willingness to drive change, with a focus on innovation, process improvement and solving problems.
Strong computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems)
Intermediate Power BI skills required
Ability to prioritize demands in a fast-paced work environment
