Description

Google DeepMind brings together scientists, engineers, ethicists, and more to solve big challenges in artificial intelligence. Our goal is simple: Build AI responsibly to benefit humanity. We're known for leading research in areas like deep learning and generative models. As part of Google, we're working to build powerful AI that can solve real-world problems and spark innovation. The Finance team plays a key part in this, helping us make smart choices about where to invest our resources to keep the work moving forward.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key finance business partner for Google DeepMind, driving strategic resource allocation, financial architecture, and long-term planning across our AI Product and Research portfolios. In this role, you will lead financial strategy across our commercial go-to-market initiatives and major compute infrastructure investments. You will partner with senior technical and product leadership to translate complex AI research and compute requirements into clear financial insights, influence strategic roadmaps, and build scalable financial models for sustainable growth.

You will collaborate closely with leaders building state-of-the-art AI models and products, navigating the financial nuances of training, inference, and infrastructure scaling. You will proactively advise stakeholders on investment trade-offs, maximize compute Return on Investment (ROI), and lead cross-functional alignment across global time zones (including central Google Finance, California-based, and London-based leadership).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
