Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with 8 to 13 years of enterprise finance experience to support financial operations, corporate planning, reporting, and strategic transformation initiatives in Auckland. In this role, you will lead budgeting and forecasting activities, compile executive reports, and drive process efficiencies.

What You'll Do

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting activities, and corporate planning support.
• Prepare and compile data for quarterly business review packs, CFO packs, board meeting data preparations, and monthly commentary packs.
• Gather and prepare data to support the development of financial assessments and business scenario modeling.
• Drive process efficiencies through targeted transformation initiatives.
• Generate leads that could translate into potential business development opportunities.
• Manage cross-functional training within the team and facilitate Knowledge Transfer (KT) / transitions.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Experience: 8 to 13 years of enterprise finance and accounting experience.
• Core Technical Tools: Strong hands-on exposure to enterprise performance management and reporting tools (Oracle EPM, COGNOS, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or equivalent platforms).
• Corporate Finance Operations: Proven track record in annual budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting packs.

Technical Depth

• Financial Modeling: Advanced ability to gather and prepare data for financial assessments and business scenario analysis.
• Process Transformation: Demonstrated experience driving process efficiencies via continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Operational Readiness: Experience handling Business Continuity Planning (BCP) situations.
• Transition Experience: Formal KT and transition management background.
