Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d)

Join Abbott Diagnostics Manufacturing and help drive financial performance for a leading global healthcare manufacturer. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with Operations and Finance leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing organization. Reporting to the FP&A Manager & Controller, you will play a key role in planning, reporting, costing, and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing business.

What You'll Do

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze financial performance, standard costs, and manufacturing variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Operations leaders on productivity, investment, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Support month-end close activities, reporting, and financial reviews.
  • Build business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions and capital investments.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and enhanced reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and accounting standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including standard costing and variance analysis.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear business recommendations.
  • SAP and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI or reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.
