Senior Financial Controller

Our client, an international company, is recruiting a Senior Financial Controller to strengthen the finance team in our locations in Central and Western Africa and Asia. This role requires flexibility regarding mobility as the role can be onsite in any location in the companys locations and change rapidly.

Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will be responsible for managing and improving control, reporting, and analysis practices, and for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in the following tasks:

• Supervision of month-end closings
• Preparation of periodic reports for headquarters
• Monitoring of production costs
• Cross-departmental analysis: development and monitoring of new reports
• Cash management: forecasting needs and managing financing
• Management of fixed assets, inventory, and accounts receivable/receivables
• Budget/forecast preparation and variance analysis
• Payroll supervision
• Management of internal and external audits
• Implementation and improvement of management procedures
• Management of tax files

Profile:

• Master's degree in Applied Economics, Management, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimium 5-6 years of experience in Management Control, Audit, or Consulting
• Experience working abroad in Africa is a requirement
• Experience working in a remote location/living quarters, is a plus
• Able to work under the clients’ expat program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a good understanding of accounting software and ERP systems.
• French and/or English; bilingualism is an advantage.
