Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM)

Job Summary

You will lead fire safety management by establishing committees, conducting inspections, planning emergency response and fire drills, liaising with authorities, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

- Oct 2026 – Oct 2027 (1 year)
- Part Time (1 visit per month - up to 4 hours each visit)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the Fire Safety Committee and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) to enhance organizational fire preparedness
  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections and produce detailed inspection reports to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop, implement, review, and update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) ensuring compliance with statutory fire safety requirements
  • Plan and conduct Fire Drills and Table Top Exercises (TTE), including preparing comprehensive post-exercise reports to improve response readiness
  • Prepare and submit the annual Fire Safety Manager report documenting fire safety activities and compliance status
  • Organize and facilitate Fire Safety Committee meetings to coordinate fire safety initiatives and communication
  • Attend and endorse Fire Certificate renewal inspections and related documentation to maintain legal compliance
  • Liaise with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) on all fire safety matters to ensure adherence to the Fire Safety Act and relevant regulations
  • Provide expert fire safety advice and perform additional fire safety management duties as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possess valid Singapore Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) certification
  • Demonstrate experience as a SFSM or Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in managing fire safety programs
  • Availability to commence work immediately
