About the role
PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer to join our growing technology team. This is a contract position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will take a leadership position in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using Flutter. You will be responsible for architecting solutions, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical excellence across our mobile development initiatives. This position is pivotal to our strategy of delivering robust, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications to our clients.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance mobile applications using Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms
Lead the technical architecture and implementation of complex features, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance to foster team growth
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Optimise application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance user experience
Implement and maintain robust error handling, logging, and monitoring systems
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
Stay current with Flutter updates, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, sharing knowledge with the team
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and development standards
What we're looking for
5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years specifically working with Flutter
Strong proficiency in Dart programming language and deep understanding of Flutter framework architecture
Proven experience developing and deploying production-grade mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
Solid understanding of mobile design patterns, state management solutions (such as Provider, BLoC, or Riverpod), and responsive UI design
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and integration with backend services
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of mobile application security best practices and data protection principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is advantageous
Previous experience mentoring or leading development teams is preferred
Familiarity with testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD) is a plus
