Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
Summary
Builds AI-driven automation and resilient systems to streamline internal workflows using Vertex AI, Kubernetes, and enterprise integrations.
You design and deliver AI and automation solutions that reduce manual work in internal business workflows. You build resilient systems, create documentation and runbooks, identify recurring stakeholder needs, develop proofs of concept, integrate cloud and on-premise systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead solutions from concept through handover.
Responsibilities
- Build robust and resilient systems
- Build on internal ecosystems and stakeholder tooling
- Create documentation and runbooks
- Return ownership to business functions and teams
- Identify recurring stakeholder issues and requests
- Automate internal processes with Vertex AI Google ADK and software engineering
- Deliver complex technical solutions end to end
- Write critical code and configure systems
- Troubleshoot deployment issues
- Develop proofs of concept and minimum viable products
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Resolve complex technical challenges
- Integrate data across GCP and Kubernetes
- Orchestrate advanced AI agents
Requirements
- Expertise in software engineering
- Strong automation skills
- Deep understanding of LLMs prompt engineering and applied ML workflows
- Experience integrating third-party AI models such as Gemini
- Experience with LangChain LlamaIndex or Google ADK
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI
- Experience deploying to Kubernetes Postgres and Redis
- Experience integrating enterprise applications including Slack Enterprise Grid Zoom and Atlassian
- Ability to translate non-technical issues into technical requirements
- Security-first approach
- Ability to lead technical initiatives autonomously
