Role Overview

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst reports directly to the Global Head of FP&A and is a key member as we build the team with exposure to executives, investors and senior global stakeholders.

The function will drive critical financial insights, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives to support the company's growth objectives. Success in this position looks like consistently delivering accurate financial models and reporting, helping to build and embed the functions procedures and routines, and providing actionable recommendations that empower executive decision-making and holds the business to account.

The Role

This role involves day-to-day deep analytical work and cross-departmental collaboration, suited for a fast-paced working environment where data-driven decision-making is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the Group planning cycle including the Strategic Plan, Budget and Rolling Forecasts.
  • Assist the finance team in the preparation of Group’s monthly performance reporting for Board, management and senior stakeholders against budgets and objectives.
  • Support the Global Head of FP&A in robust financial modelling and forecasting assessing return of investment cases such as new products and M&A opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, memorandums and analysis for senior and external stakeholders such as investors and credit providers.
  • Develop, elevate and streamline reporting processes and relevant management reports.
  • Organise, maintain, and analyse financial data and other relevant data sets to help assess portfolio & product profitability.
  • Assist with the preparation of schedules and assist both internal and external auditors in their inquiries.
  • Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Occasional travel may be required during the planning process.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an FP&A role, preferably 3+ years.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • You will be commercially minded, thinking systemically and able to communicate complex financial movements in a concise and engaging manner.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to build relationships, influence outcomes and work effectively with senior Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Working as part of a team, detail oriented and a drive for accuracy.
  • Inquisitive approach to day-to-day tasks, with a desire to question & challenge data and a desire to understand the business
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment managing changing and conflicting priorities.
  • To be successful in this role, experience in Financial Services, FinTech or a regulated business is strongly preferred.
  • This person does not need to have managed teams before, as this is an individual contributor role.
  • Expert skill level in Microsoft Excel (macros, complex modelling) is required; advantageous experience includes AI agent / task creation and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field of study.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) preferred
