Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead front-end architecture, UI/UX modernizations, and workflow enhancements across complex, multi-tenant enterprise software platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming intricate operational and public-facing workflows into intuitive, responsive, and highly accessible user experiences. Working closely with product managers and back-end engineers, you will build scalable UI components and web applications using Angular, Blazor, and .NET technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX & Workflow Enhancements: Design, develop, and optimize rich web application interfaces, streamlining multi-step user workflows to maximize usability, responsiveness, and speed.
- Front-End Architecture: Architect reusable UI component libraries, design systems, and modular front-end code bases using Angular and Blazor integrated into .NET enterprise environments.
- API Integration: Collaborate with back-end engineers to consume and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data binding, state management, and efficient network communication between .NET services and the front end.
- Accessibility & Performance: Enforce high standards for UI rendering speed, cross-browser compatibility, and strict WCAG / ADA accessibility standards.
- Code Quality & Testing: Perform rigorous code reviews, write comprehensive front-end tests (unit/integration), and maintain clean, maintainable codebases using SOLID front-end principles.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, technical estimations, and architectural design reviews in a high-velocity agile environment.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience building high-scale, production-level web applications.
- Core Front-End Frameworks: Advanced hands-on proficiency in Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, state management) and Blazor (WebAssembly / Blazor Server).
- .NET Stack Familiarity: Strong understanding of how front-end applications interface with .NET Core / .NET 8, C#, and ASP.NET Web APIs.
- Web Fundamentals: Mastery of HTML5, modern CSS (SASS/LESS, flexbox/grid), TypeScript, and responsive layout design.
- Testing & Tools: Experience writing front-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Cypress, along with Git-based version control (GitHub/Azure DevOps).
Core Competencies & Cultural Fit
- Self-Motivated Learner: Driven to stay ahead of technical trends, quickly adapt to hybrid stacks, and proactively evaluate new technologies and architecture patterns.
- Strong Individual Contributor & Technical Leader: Able to take ownership of complex architectural initiatives, ask incisive questions, and drive execution independently with minimal oversight while mentoring junior/mid-level engineers.
- Reliable Team Player: Values transparent collaboration, constructive feedback during code reviews, and cross-functional partnerships with product and backend teams.
- Remote-Ready Communicator: Clear, prompt, and proactive communication across asynchronous and real-time tools (Slack, Teams) and project tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps).
Preferred / "Nice-to-Have" Qualifications
- Experience modernizing legacy web interfaces (e.g., ASP.NET Web Forms, Classic ASP) into modern Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Practical experience designing for public sector, utility, or regulated compliance environments (e.g., ADA/WCAG compliance, PCI standards).
- Exposure to cloud-hosted environments (Microsoft Azure) and containerized workflows (Docker).
- AI-Assisted Development: Proficiency in utilizing AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development, improve test coverage, and streamline code reviews.
