Senior React Developer

We are seeking a Senior React Developer to join our existing product team.

This team focuses on developing software in the cloud to manage
the full life cycle of investment, including trade capture, positions, profit and loss (P&L), performance, and other key aspects.

You will work closely with various trading leads and other senior leaders to develop designs, workflows, and other key product elements. This role will be instrumental in advancing our Middle Office transformation initiative by providing our investment teams with a rich, near-real-time, and accurate view of trades, positions, P&L, and performance, as well as technology teams with standardized interfaces to access accurate information in a timely manner. We seek an individual with a proven track record for building complex financial systems.

Position services provide asset managers with real-time data on the performance and valuation of financial assets. This enables timely decision-making and adjustments to investment strategies in response to market conditions. They also enable asset managers to analyze the performance of their portfolios by attributing returns to specific assets or strategies. This helps in understanding what drives performance and making informed investment decisions. Our middle office transformation initiative will completely transform our business workflows by delivering efficiency across processes, providing our investment teams with more accurate and timely access to positions, profit and loss (P&L), and performance.

Requirements

Must-have

10 + years of professional software development experience

Strong commercial experience with React

JavaScript

TypeScript

NPM

Browser Web APIs

RESTful APIs

Experience working with cloud technologies

Nice-to-have

Full-stack development experience:

Java backend experience (4+ years preferred)

Angular experience (2+ years is a strong plus)

Python experience (acceptable alternative if Java is not present)

Experience with gRPC

Experience with microservice-based architecture

Experience with distributed systems

Experience building UI applications from scratch

Background in the finance domain
